Heroes For Hire - Our House Music

A world in chaos. A hungry dancefloor. A time for heroes. heroes for hire bring you UT's debut release, they have seen the future of house music - deep, funky licks with retro charm and 21st Century energy - and dragged it back for the appreciation of the masses.

Reviews:

As resident DJ at slick London beat-em-ups Bloodvibes and Celebrate Life, Colin 'Cogz' White knew the intricacies of working a club crowd from the decks. Enter boy wonder Dan Carey - musician and craftsman behind Mr Dan, Danmass and Lazyboy - to inject melodic substance backed up with solid studio expertise. 'Our House Music's' combination of driving bass, detailed percussion and heavily fx'ed vocal samples should find favour with house fans the world over. The Departure Lounge pair of Jason Moore & Si Brad up the atmospherics with their ghostly dub whilst on the flip side Carey goes it alone for a stripped down, bass-led belter. This was the first of two fully artworked sleeves, but we couldn't afford to keep doing that! So it's a bit of a collectors item!!
