Hypnos is Michal Cymbalista - a hot new musican, DJ and producer from Poland. He has the enviable position of having the very first release on our brand new urbantorque digital-only label.

This beautiful EP showcases Michal's consummate musicianship and as the title suggests, takes us back to our deeper urbantorque roots, reminiscent of outings from the likes of Dealer's Choice and Si Brad.

The EP kicks off with 'Late Night Music', a piano and guitar laden beauty; sublime deep grooves for those after hours moments. 'Red Lines' continues the theme, with lush strings and melodies to soothe the soul. 'Anti-Dotum' provides an interlude from the 4 to the floor; kick back to the bitter sweet laid back beats. And finally, we arrive at 'Time To Go', a slightly more up tempo offering from Michal, taking in more electronic influences to create a wonderful hypnotic piece of groove-some house music. All in all a great debut, and with Michal already working on his second release, we are confident Hypnos is a name to watch.
