In dance/electronic music, to test the quality of the piece you take the beats away. 'I Try' stands up to that test as the Beatless mix shows. Think Smokebelch 3, Song For Life etc.....this is up there with those for me as a modern classic...... I can't praise it anymore than that. Bringing the beats back for a second, Mr Sam Ball has come up with a mix that no-one else had on any of the previous packages. It's a pretty standard 'proghouse' (dare I say that?!!!) groove with that 'heads down' factor, but topped with the melodies of the original it goes straight to the front of the box for that bigroom/festival vibe. Personally, I'd have made it even bigger but then I'm a bit of a cheesy raver at heart!!;-) Top work Sam..........again!!"
