Easy But Nothing Artificial EP

At the tender age of 20 he’s already developed his own sound, cleverly fusing deep house grooves with the bleeps, glitches and tension of minimal techno, and he is producing music with a level of sophistication rare amongst his peers. Sergio’s talents were displayed in his excellent stripped-back remix of Audio Soul Project’s ‘Caramel’, and ‘Easy But Nothing Artificial’, his debut EP on Urbantorque, takes this a step further delivering three distinct and essential tracks.

‘Nice & Easy’ has already garnered much support with spins from M.A.N.D.Y, DJ T and Danny Howells amongst others and an appearance on Tom Novy’s ‘Nouveau Niveau – Volume 2: Ibiza Sessions’ mix compilation. A swirling vortex of a tune, it nods at minimal but delivers a fuller sound with depth, tribal elements and a lot of bite.

Kicking off the B-side is the aggressive cyber-rage of ‘Artificial Intelligence.’ This is loud, brash, acidic electro; very wrong.

Next up, ‘Maximize Minimize’ wraps things up nicely. More of a straight minimal track, it’s spiced-up with bizarre Amazonian FX which add atmosphere and intrigue.
