Fresh from delivering a vibrant debut EP on Urbantorque, the ‘Bright Side EP,’ described by Ben Watt as ‘beautiful summer night music,’ Greek Steve Mill serves up two big warm tech/house soundscapes on this follow-up.

Props came in for Steve from all over the place, with the likes of John Aquaviva, Sasse, Fabrice Lig and Andy Caldwell all digging the deep sounds of the ‘Bright Side EP’, and ‘China Story / Q For Quality’ can only cement his reputation as a young producer to note.

‘China Story’ is anything but understated; it’s emotive, epic, electronic house music. Synths, strings and rolling bass combine on a track that bears a swaggering bravado that you just can’t argue with. ‘Q for Quality’ brings harder beats, but lush melodies keep it sweet. It has an irrepressible bounce to it and a distinctly European sound: the stuff of long warm nights partying under the stars.
