Beautiful You

The 6th Urbantorque release sees a welcome return for Mancunian Lee Stanley, operating under his 'Dealer's Choice' moniker this time round.

The producer, has previously recorded as Veena Harlem for both Sheffield's Toko and on the fourth Urbantorque release (which was hammered by Charles Webster, the Inland Knights and the Sub Club's Harri and Domenic). Lee has only gone under the Dealers Choice hat on one prior occasion - an outing on Paper recordings. The addition of Azeem, the celebrated vocalist who has worked with Terry Francis and Grand Central's Only Child, amongst many others - ups the ante further still. The release of Beautiful You, which made a very limited outing on the Urbantorque Miami 2002 doublepack, could not have been better timed. A superb jerky production ethic - that bears comparison with vintage Todd Edwards, is merged exquisitely with Azeem's stunning vocals, on a feelgood number that never fails to raise a smile. The Dub mix on the flipside is perfectly suited to those who are playing the early shift or fancy getting busy in the mix.
