Harold Heath - Be My Friend

‘Be My Friend’ is a catchy tech-infused bass-driven party-rocker. The track’s heavy bouncing bass is complemented by snappy lyrics written and assertively delivered by Bruce Zulu, whom Harold once battled with in an Ilford street brawl before the two became buddies.

On the remix, Southampton’s wonder-kid James Talk mashes vocal snippets, robotic snatches and squelched bass to edgy effect building with pronounced synths to hands-in-the-air breakdowns. It’s another destructive party sniper.

The third track is Harold’s dub of ‘Party Never Stops’ on which subtle synths and FX sensitively wash over another driving bassline.

Reviews:

“It makes you want to dance and it makes you want to sit down and listen all at the same time.”
